By using the Exam King platform (examkinghk.com), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Exam King accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or above. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom you are generating exam papers.

You are responsible for maintaining account security and keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, whether or not authorised by you.

If your login credentials are lost or stolen, or if you believe your account has been accessed by unauthorised third parties, please notify us immediately at support@sproutgardenlearning.com and change your password.

Exam King is an AI-powered exam paper generation platform that creates practice papers and mock exams for Hong Kong primary school English (P1-P6), matched to specific textbook units from major Hong Kong publishers.

All exam papers are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). While we design our system to align with Hong Kong primary school curriculum standards, we do not guarantee that every question will be error-free.

Papers are intended as supplementary practice material and should not be used as the sole basis for academic assessment.

Parents are encouraged to review generated papers before giving them to their children.

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We accept no liability for any academic outcomes arising from the use of AI-generated papers.

We continuously improve our AI system's accuracy and quality, and welcome users to report any errors via support@sproutgardenlearning.com.

AI-generated exam papers are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may print papers for your own child's practice.

You may not redistribute, resell, publish online, or commercially exploit the generated content.

Textbook publisher names, unit titles, and syllabus information referenced in our system are the intellectual property of their respective publishers. Exam King is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any textbook publisher.

The Exam King platform design, code, branding, system prompts, and curriculum mapping data are the intellectual property of Sprout Garden Learning Limited.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer the platform or any of its components.

• Free Plan: 5 papers total per account with partial answers.
• Parent Plan (Basic): HK$68/month (first month HK$9.9 for new subscribers) for full answers and marking criteria, subject to Fair Use limits below.
• Premium Plan (Monthly): HK$148/month for everything in Parent Plan, plus AI mock papers, reading comprehension, custom story images, and school-paper format matching via OCR upload. No Fair Use cap on paper count for personal household learning.
• Exam Year Plan (Annual Premium): HK$1,280 charged once for 12 months of Premium access — an effective monthly rate of HK$106.67 and a saving of HK$496 versus paying monthly. Includes every Premium feature. Annual-specific cancellation and renewal terms are set out in Section 7A.
• Fair Use limits (Parent Plan): up to 50 papers per calendar month, 10 papers per day, and a maximum of 3 distinct grades per day. Limits reset at Hong Kong midnight. Usage beyond these limits will be blocked and may be treated as a breach of these Terms.
• Accounts are for personal household learning only. Commercial use, resale, mass download of generated content, or use by tutoring centres or schools without a separate written licence is prohibited and may result in account suspension without refund.
• First-month promotional pricing on the Parent Plan is limited to one card per household. Re-using the same payment card with a different account will automatically be charged the full monthly price.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Annual subscriptions renew annually until cancelled — see Section 7A.
• Prices may change. If prices change, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies. Your prepaid period (whether monthly or annual) is locked at the price you originally paid.

The Exam Year Plan is an annual prepay subscription to Premium access at HK$1,280 for 12 months.

• Single upfront charge. The full HK$1,280 is charged on the day of subscription. There is no monthly billing thereafter for the prepaid period.
• Access period. 12 months from the date of subscription.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew annually at the then-current Annual Premium price unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will email you a renewal reminder no less than 7 days before the renewal date so you have a clear window to cancel.
• Cancellation after the 14-day window. You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the prepaid 12-month period. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused months outside the 14-day satisfaction window described in Section 9.
• Mid-year price changes. Your prepaid 12 months are locked at the price you originally paid. Any price change applies only to your next renewal.
• Downgrade. You may downgrade to Parent Plan (Basic) at any time. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your prepaid Annual period — no pro-rata refund — and from that date you will be billed monthly at the then-current Parent Plan price.

Premium subscribers may upload photographs or PDFs of school exam papers so that Exam King can generate practice papers matched to the school's format. This feature is offered subject to the following terms.

• Eligibility to upload. By uploading a school paper you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child the paper relates to, and that you have the right to share the paper for the purposes described here.
• What we extract. We extract structural pattern features only — section count, question types, mark allocation, dominant format features — to inform the generator. We do not republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit the paper itself or its content.
• Student information. Any student names, identifiers, or handwriting visible on uploaded papers are automatically redacted before the paper is processed by our AI service. See Section 13 (Eligibility) and our Privacy Policy for full data-handling detail.
• Copyright. Original school papers and any third-party textbook content they contain remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers and authors. Our use of uploaded papers to extract format patterns for your personal household practice is intended to fall within fair-dealing principles under Hong Kong copyright law; we accept no liability if a particular upload exceeds the rights you hold.
• Retention. Raw uploaded files are deleted within 30 days. The anonymised extracted pattern is retained for as long as your subscription is active so we can keep matching new generations to your school's format.
• Acceptable use. You may not upload papers that include confidential, restricted, or unauthorised content (for example, a paper currently being administered, or material clearly marked confidential by the school). Breach of this clause may result in suspension under Section 11.

• Paid users receive a referral code to share with friends.
• New users applying a valid referral code receive 50% off their first month. Referrers receive one free month.
• Each referral code may be used up to 5 times and expires after 90 days.
• Abuse of the referral system (including creating multiple accounts to exploit referral rewards) may result in account termination.

Exam King's general position is that subscriptions are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, save for the specific 14-day satisfaction window for new Premium subscribers described below.

Parent Plan (Basic, monthly): You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your current monthly billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Premium Plan and Exam Year Plan — 14-day satisfaction window: A new subscriber to Premium Monthly or to the Exam Year Plan may request a full refund within 14 days of the original subscription date, subject to the following conditions:

• Usage cap. A refund is available only if you have generated five (5) or fewer papers on the Premium tier during the 14-day window. Generating six or more papers signals that you have evaluated the product meaningfully and consumed substantial AI capacity; the 14-day refund window no longer applies once the cap is reached.
• One refund per customer per 12 months. A given customer (identified by any combination of email, payment card, household address, or device fingerprint) is entitled to exercise the 14-day satisfaction window at most once in any rolling 12-month period. A second subscription within 12 months of a refunded one is non-refundable.
• How to request. Email support@sproutgardenlearning.com or message us via WhatsApp +852 4427 0658 within the 14-day window. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 14 working days.

After the 14-day window: Premium Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the current monthly billing period and no pro-rata refund is given. Exam Year Plan subscribers may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the prepaid 12-month period and no pro-rata refund is given for unused months — see Section 7A.

No refund for terminated accounts. No refund is due for accounts that are suspended, terminated, or have their service restricted for breach of these Terms, including but not limited to breaches of Section 10 (Acceptable Use), the Fair Use limits in Section 7, or the upload rules in Section 7B.

Chargebacks. In the event of a payment chargeback or dispute initiated by you for services already rendered, we reserve the right to recover the full cost of those services, including any chargeback fees or administrative costs we incur. Chargebacks initiated in bad faith — including where service has been received as described — may result in permanent termination and legal action.

Technical issues. If you experience technical issues preventing use of the service, please contact us via WhatsApp +852 4427 0658 and we will handle on a case-by-case basis, including outside the 14-day window where the failure is clearly attributable to us.

You agree not to:

• Use automated means to mass-scrape or download generated content
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute generated papers
• Attempt to circumvent free plan limits or payment requirements
• Use the platform for any unlawful activity
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload malware or harmful code

One-account-per-person rule. Each natural person (individual) may hold only one active Parent Plan subscription at a time. Creating multiple accounts — whether under different email addresses, different payment methods, or different names — for the purpose of accessing promotional pricing (including the first-month HK$9.9 offer) more than once, evading Fair Use limits, or otherwise circumventing these Terms is a breach of this Section. We may link accounts belonging to the same natural person using signals including but not limited to payment card fingerprint, IP address, device identifier, household address, and behavioural patterns. Linked accounts may be suspended or terminated without refund under Section 11.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms, including but not limited to: abuse of the service, automated scraping, reselling generated content, circumventing payments, breach of Fair Use limits (Section 7), or any unlawful activity.

We have sole discretion to determine what constitutes a breach, informed by usage patterns such as generation frequency, coverage of multiple grades or publishers, timing patterns inconsistent with manual use, and other signals inconsistent with personal household learning.

We may retain and analyse usage logs (including timestamps, grade and subject selections, IP address, payment card fingerprint, and generation patterns) for the purpose of detecting, investigating, and evidencing suspected abuse. This processing is a legitimate interest of our business under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Suspended or terminated accounts are not entitled to any refund of fees paid. We are under no obligation to reinstate a terminated account, even if you dispute our determination.

After account termination, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable time, but may retain records required by law and records reasonably necessary to evidence a Terms breach for up to seven years.

Exam King is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

We accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid by you for the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sprout Garden Learning Limited and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of Exam King after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
